More UK charities adopting AI
A UK survey report published in July 2025 found that 76% of charities are now using AI tools, up from 61% the year before. The proportion developing an AI policy nearly tripled (16% to 48%), even as those with a formal digital strategy fell to 44% (from 50%). The report warns that many nonprofits still lack leadership-level digital skills and adequate funding for tech investment. It calls on funders and sector partners to help bridge this gap so the third sector can adopt AI safely, ethically and effectively.
